Designed for leaders and decision-makers responsible for shaping organisational direction, governance, and performance in increasingly data-dependent environments.
data minded series    Impactful Data Leadership

Leading with data, inspiring with evidence

Impactful Data Leadership is an executive learning experience designed to help leaders navigate the realities of modern, data-dependent organisations.

Part of the Fernleaf Leadership Continuum, the course focuses on helping leaders build the understanding and mindset required to operate confidently in environments where evidence, governance, and organisational performance are increasingly interconnected. Leaders move from simply recognising the importance of data to understanding how their leadership behaviours shape decision quality, organisational capability, and trust in information.

The program is informed by the Data Minded Leadership Model, which explores how leadership mindset, governance structures, and organisational culture work together to influence how data is used in practice. Through this lens, leaders examine how the signals they send through questions, decisions, and sponsorship shape whether evidence is surfaced, ignored, or misunderstood.

Throughout the course, participants reflect on how their leadership approach influences decision-making, accountability, and organisational learning. Guided reflections and practical tasks help translate these insights into actions leaders can apply within their own organisational context.

By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of their role in enabling evidence-informed decision environments and strengthening organisational capability to lead through data.
"In a world increasingly shaped by data, leadership still matters most. This course helps you develop the insight and behaviours needed to lead with evidence while keeping human judgement at the centre" - Fernleaf Learning Team
